John E. Fullerton, Inc. is an award-winning electrical contractor in central Pennsylvania with an ever-growing portfolio of customers in a variety of industries. We specialize in delivering comprehensive electrical solutions for commercial, institutional, design & build, healthcare, energy solutions, and telecommunications customers. We also provide utilities excavating services and repair & maintenance for your existing electrical equipment.
Our principles of business are simple, we believe in doing a great job at a fair price. John E. Fullerton, Inc. is a locally owned business with approximately 30 employees. We are small enough to give each job personal attention, yet large enough to handle substantial projects.

Our History
John E. Fullerton Sr. began serving the electrical contracting needs of customers from the basement of his home, near Elizabethtown, PA in 1952. From these first customers, word quickly spread about John’s integrity, expertise, and quality of work. After a few months, his business was expanding rapidly, and he began hiring his first employees.
In 1958, John E. Fullerton, Jr. joined his father in business, and in 1961 they incorporated as John E. Fullerton, Inc. Business grew steadily as John Sr, his son John Jr, and their first employees established a reputation for reliable craftsmanship and prompt professional service. Over the years additional employees were hired, a shop building was built, offices were renovated, and a truck garage was added.
One of the new employees hired during this period was John Jr.’s son Philip Fullerton. Through Philip’s early years, he worked in each area of the business
as he learned all details from the ground up. In 2000, Philip and his wife Sharon became the owners of John E. Fullerton, Inc., and Philip was named President. As Philip tells every new employee, one thing that has not changed over the years is John E. Fullerton’s commitment to customers. We promise to deliver reliable craftsmanship and prompt professional service with integrity, expertise, and quality work. Absolute customer satisfaction is always guaranteed.

John E. Fullerton, Inc. has the experience and training that it takes to deliver comprehensive electrical solutions for our customers. Our professional team has almost 400 years of combined electrical construction experience, an average of over 17 years per person. Customers also enjoy the continuity of our team since they have been with John E. Fullerton, Inc. for an average of more than 14 years each. The team is well-trained in the latest construction methods and possesses a wealth of related specialized knowledge:
- Team members complete annual Infectious Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) training.
- Each manager, along with a number of field personnel, holds a Healthcare Construction Certificate from the American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).
- Certified Installer of Leviton data and communications equipment, providing full warranty coverage.
- Extensive experience in the layout and installation of delicate MRI, X-ray, and CT Scan machines.
- Member of National Fire Protections Association (NFPA).
- OSHA safety certifications and ISNetworld safety compliant.

2019 ABC Craft Competition
Sean Herr was recently awarded the top scorer in this years ABC Keystone Craft Competition in the electrical division. Sean will go on to compete in the Spring 2020 at the ABC National Craft Competition.
2016 Silver Award for Safety Achievements
ABC’s Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program recognizes the efforts of ABC members that strive to achieve effective safety practices at their firms and provides contractors with a tool to objectively evaluate their safety programs, policies, procedures and training.

Award given for the project at Lancaster Heart and Vascular Institute Heart Center Clinic in Renovation Under $1 Million.
2013 Excellence in Construction Award
The Calvin & Janet High Center for Worship & Performing Arts at Messiah College has been distinctive from its outset. Many venues are housed within the new building. Three Rehearsal Rooms for choir, chamber and instrument practice; a Recital Hall with theater seating for smaller, more intimate performances, the Black Box Theater for small plays, which may also be held in-the-round; and the primary focus of the structure, the Symphony Hall.
